Job summary

Bridge View Nursing Home is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist for day shifts in our skilled nursing setting. You will evaluate, develop, and implement treatment plans to promote residents' functional independence.

The role offers competitive weekly pay, a collaborative rehab team, and opportunities for professional growth. Requires NY State OT license; experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current New York State Occupational Therapist License.
• Experience is a plus, though not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop treatment plans for residents based on their medical diagnoses.
• Implement treatment plans to improve residents' goals toward functional independence.
• Assess and document residents' progress in detailed re-certifications, progress reports, and daily notes.
• Maintain resident confidence by ensuring the confidentiality of all information.
• Maintain documentation of resident care services by auditing resident and department records.
• Assume responsibility for clinically supervising occupational therapy assistants.
• Participate in care plan meetings and contribute to related documentation.
• Plan, develop, and organize OT-related reports and data tracking as directed by the Rehab Director.
• Assist in departmental projects as needed.

Education
