Sigma Health Rehab is actively seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist (OT) to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Corning, New York. The role offers mentorship, flexible scheduling, and access to advanced therapies as part of a dedicated rehab team.

Ideal candidates will be licensed OT in New York and have graduated from an accredited OT program. Per diem shifts provide competitive pay with options for evening and weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current New York State OT License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve resident’s pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching.
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to team effort.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program

Current New York State OT License
