Job summary

Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. You will assess and treat individuals with traumatic brain injuries, neurobehavioral disorders, and complex medical recoveries in a comprehensive rehab setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree that confers the title of Registered Occupational Therapist.
• Currently licensed in NYS and in good standing.
• 1 year of therapist experience in medical settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform OT evaluations, set goals, plan and implement treatment.
• Chart appropriately and timely in EMR.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Maintain patient confidentiality of information.
• Maintain positive relationships with facility staff.
• Create a warm, calm environment throughout the facility.
• Read, write, and understand English.
