Job summary

Boston Medical Center in Brighton, MA, is seeking a per diem Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care across inpatient and ambulatory settings. The role includes prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic visits with inpatient labor and delivery support.

Qualifications

• Clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology, with inpatient and ambulatory care.
• Knowledge of obstetric, gynecologic, and reproductive health care including triage and management.
• Experience assisting in cesarean deliveries and gynecologic procedures, preferred.
• Family planning counseling and contraceptive management experience.
• Current NCCPA certification and eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts; eligibility for DEA registration.
• Graduation from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive, equity-focused care to diverse patient populations.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical documentation skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts in a busy academic medical center; urban/safety-net experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric and gynecologic care across inpatient and ambulatory settings.
• Assist in cesarean deliveries and gynecologic surgeries.
• Conduct obstetric triage evaluations and inpatient rounds; manage admission and discharge.
• Counsel patients on family planning, contraception, and preventive health.
• Engage in quality improvement, education, and mentorship activities.
