Butler Hospital seeks a kitchen helper to perform a variety of duties including assembling prepared food for trays, delivering trays to units, and cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen areas and equipment.

Responsibilities include operating the dishwasher, stocking supplies, and ensuring proper handling of vegetables and meals for patients of different ages. Adherence to hygiene, safety, and patient confidentiality is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Experience or training in food service is a plus.
• Attention to hygiene and safety procedures.

Responsabilités

• Delivers snacks and trays to units and returns trays for cleanup.
• Replenishes serving lines with utensils, dinnerware, and glassware.
• Operates dishwasher and maintains dish room equipment; logs temperatures.
• Assists with stocking food, paper, and cleaning supplies; notifies supervisor when low.
• Washes and sanitizes pots and pans per department procedures.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen, cafeteria serving lines, and equipment.
• Adheres to patient nutrition guidelines and age-appropriate meal service.
• Observes hospital policies on infection control and patient confidentiality.
