Job summary

Riverside University Health System (RUHS) is seeking a per diem House Supervisor for the Nurse Staffing Administration in Moreno Valley. The role coordinates nursing services on a shift, liaises between departments, and acts as Administrator-On-Call when needed.

Ideal candidate holds a BSN, 3 years of progressive RN experience in acute care, and 2+ years supervisory experience. Requires CA RN license, BLS/ACLS, NIHSS; PALS preferred. Work schedule includes weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible RN experience in an acute care hospital/facility.
• At least 2 years of House Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing services on an assigned shift and liaise between departments.
• Act as liaison between Administrator-On-Call and external agencies.
• Assist in staffing decisions and monitor unit performance.
• Ensure bed control and verify bed assignments.
• Observe patient care and environment during rounds.
• Address situations involving patients, staff and visitors and resolve them.
