Job Description

Registered Nurses Are Responsible For The Following

• Performing patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice.
• Practicing safe medication administration and assessing patient responses to medication.
• Participating in reviewing and/or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination.
• Note: Bargaining Unit: PASNAP
• This is a Tier 3 position requiring a commitment during a 6-week schedule:
• Minimum Commitment - 60 Hours
• Weekend Requirement - 36 Hours (included in Min)
• Holiday Requirement - 1 Winter & 1 Summer

Qualifications

The RN will provide professional nursing care to a group of patients within a specified time frame and complete all required documentation. Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; BSN within 3 years of start date required.
• Current PA RN license, active and in good standing.
• At least three years RN experience in acute care with two years in Med Surg Tele REQUIRED.
• BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Evidence of attending and passing a Dysrhythmia Course required.
