Job Description

Registered Nurses are responsible for:

1. Performing patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice.
2. Practicing safe medication administration and assessing patient responses to medication.
3. Participating in reviewing and/or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination.
4. Bargaining Unit: PASNAP
5. This is a Tier 3 position requiring the following during a 6-week schedule:
   • Minimum Commitment - 60 Hours
   • Weekend Requirement - 36 Hours (included in minimum)
   • Holiday Requirement - 1 Winter & 1 Summer

The Registered Nurse will provide professional nursing care to a group of patients within a specified time and complete all required documentation. Qualifications include:

1. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred; BSN within 3 years of start date required.
2. Current state-issued RN license, PA, active and in good standing.
3. At least three years RN experience in acute care, with two years in Med Surg Tele. REQUIRED.
4. BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association are required.
5. Evidence of attending and passing a Dysrhythmia Course is required.
