Job summary

Medical Essential Diagnostics is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to perform comprehensive patient assessments, document encounters in EMR, and advise on preventive care. You will interpret diagnostic tests, refer for further testing as needed, and relay information between clinics and physicians. Licensure in NJ and national certification are required.

Experience with adult and geriatric populations and strong clinical judgment are essential for success in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• MSN or DNP with current NP licensure in the state.
• National certification by ANCC or AANPCB (certified NP).
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including medical history and exams.
• Document encounters and progress notes in EMR accurately.
• Advise on preventive care and healthy practices.
• Analyze and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., PFTs, EKGs, imaging).
• Refer patients for further testing when needed.
• Coordinate and relay information between clinics and physicians.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
