Job summary

UMass Memorial Health - Harrington Hospital in Southbridge, MA is seeking a per diem Hospital Medicine clinician (PA or NP) to join our community-focused team. This role offers flexible scheduling with 10-hour shifts and a minimum of 4 shifts per month, supported by Epic EMR and integrated clinical systems.

Candidates hold a Master's degree in PA or NP, MA license with national certification (ANCC/AANP/NCCPA as applicable), and Massachusetts DEA registration; compensation reflects per diem

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited PA or NP program.
• Eligible or current Massachusetts license, with national certification (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA) as applicable.
• Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration and federal DEA Registration are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document complete history and physical exams
• Develop diagnoses and treatment plans based on clinical evaluation
• Order and interpret laboratory and imaging studies
• Participate in daily inpatient rounds and document progress notes
• Collaborate with consulting services and interdisciplinary teams
• Perform routine bedside procedures per delineation of privileges
