Job summary

UMass Memorial Health - Harrington Hospital is seeking a per diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hospital Medicine team in Southbridge, MA. Flexible ten-hour shifts with a minimum commitment of 4 shifts per month, within a supportive, team-based model.

Experience with EPIC EMR and integrated clinical systems is preferred. Massachusetts license and national certification are required, with DEA registration.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Eligible or current Massachusetts license, with national certification (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, as applicable)
• Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration and federal DEA Registration are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document complete history and physical exams.
• Develop diagnoses and treatment plans based on clinical evaluation.
• Order and interpret laboratory and imaging studies.
• Participate in daily inpatient rounds and document progress notes.
• Collaborate with consulting services and interdisciplinary teams.
• Perform routine bedside procedures per delineation of privileges.
