Job summary
AltaMed Health Services Corp. is seeking a Per-Diem Nurse Practitioner to provide medical services to patients under supervision and in autonomous collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
You will examine and treat patients, diagnose conditions, and may prescribe medications or order tests. A California NP license and board certification in Adults/Family/Pediatrics/Women’s Health are required, with bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Baccalaureate school of nursing.
- Current California licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Board certification in Adult/Family/Pediatric/Women's Health NP.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
- BLS or higher certification required.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical services to clients under supervision and in autonomous collaboration with other health care professionals.
- Examine and treat patients, including diagnosis, treatment and prevention of illness and injury.
- May prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests; advise patients about continuing care.
- Maintain professional standards and ensure compliance with applicable laws and clinic policies.
