UCLA Health and David Geffen School of Medicine seeks a Per Diem Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging and ensure safe, accurate exams at West Valley Hospital. You will perform radiopharmaceutical prep, quality control, and image processing while supporting patients with empathy and clear explanations.

Flexibility to cover after-hours, weekends, and staff vacations is required, with potential to convert to career. Competitive hourly rate is offered.

Qualifications

• Current NMTCB or ARRT certification.
• Valid California CNMT license issued by DHS, RHB.
• At least one year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience.
• Flexibility to work after-hours shifts.

Responsabilités

• Provide per diem coverage during after-hours, weekends, and staff vacations or leaves.
• Conduct patient interviews, communicating clearly and compassionately with patients of all ages to explain procedures, provide reassurance, and promote a positive experience.
• Prepare, perform quality control, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceutical compounds.
• Handle, prepare, witness, and administer adjunctive medications under direct physician supervision.
• Perform patient imaging and therapeutic procedures, including computer processing and image enhancement.
