Job summary

Encino Hospital Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare Foundation, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. The role involves providing quality imaging and assisting Radiologists in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, with responsibility for processing and transmitting images to PACS.

The position is per diem with a flexible shift, and requires an active Nuclear Medicine license, ARRT certification, and relevant radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Education, experience and training requirements for the Nuclear Medicine Technologist role.
• License and ARRT certification are required or preferred per the posting.
• Experience with radiology procedures and PACS is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and provides quality imaging.
• Supports the Radiologist and assists in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Education

Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH

ARRT Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology

One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred

At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist

Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment

Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT

Current BCLS (AHA) required

Proficient computer skills
