Job summary
Encino Hospital Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our multi-disciplinary imaging team in Encino, California. This per diem role focuses on quality imaging and collaboration with Radiology to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including image processing and transmission to PACS.
Requirements include a current state nuclear medicine license (CDPH/ARRT/NMTCB), ARRT-accredited program graduate, and BCLS.
Qualifications
- Current state nuclear medicine license (CDPH/ARRT or NMTCB) required.
- One year of acute clinical radiology experience preferred.
- At least one year of nuclear medicine technologist experience preferred.
- Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
- Graduate of ARRT-accredited program.
- Current BCLS (AHA) required.
- Proficient computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates within a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality imaging.
- Assists Radiologist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Processes and transmits images to PACS.
