Mammoth Hospital is seeking a Med/Surg Registered Nurse for per diem night shifts in Mammoth Lakes, CA. You will assess, monitor, and coordinate care, translating physician orders into individualized patient plans and documenting outcomes.

The role requires strong communication, critical thinking, and collaborative teamwork to ensure safe, high-quality care. Night shifts include $11 per hour differential and weekend/holiday rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• CA RN license required.
• American Heart Association/BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• PALS certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Critical Care Certification or CCRN required or began within 90 days of hire.
• One year of in-patient nursing experience required.

Responsabilités

• Carefully assess and monitor the patient’s physical status and record data.
• Correlate physicians’ orders to diagnoses and treatment needs.
• Administer medications with knowledge of actions, contraindications and side effects.
• Perform and interpret laboratory work-up and related values.
• Provide patient teaching per hospital policy and document responses.
