Job summary

Regency Hospital in Sylvania, OH is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for Per Diem/PRN night shifts (6:00pm–6:30am, 12-hour shifts). Compensation is $44 per hour with shift differentials for nights and weekends.

The RT will evaluate patients, provide respiratory care, and participate in quality improvement across our post-ICU setting. The role requires NBRC CRT/RRT, graduation proof, BLS, state licensure, and ACLS upon hire.

Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Current BLS certification by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
