Select Medical in Sylvania, OH is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for Per Diem/PRN Day Shift. The role involves evaluating patients, delivering respiratory care, and assisting in weaning and extubation in a hospital setting. You must hold an active CRT or RRT credential, current state licensure, and BLS; ACLS is required on hire.

Availability for weekend shifts and holidays is expected. Scheduled days are 6:00am–6:30pm with 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Must possess Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent
• BLS certification by start date
• Current state licensure
• ACLS required upon hire (Agency RT must have ACLS on first shift)

Responsabilités

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients and families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
