Job summary

Saint Peter's Healthcare System is actively seeking a NICU RN Per Diem to join our Neonatal ICU team on a Magnet-designated unit. You will deliver direct patient care in a high-acuity NICU, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and uphold the highest standards of nursing practice.

Per diem shifts offer flexibility for experienced nurses committed to excellence. Requirements include NJ RN licensure, BLS certification, and NRP Part I & II; 1 year of NICU experience preferred; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• One year of experience preferred; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part I & II required.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team.
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards.
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy.
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care.
