Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient confidentiality and privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow protocols for newborn hearing screening prior to discharge and enter patient data.
• Document results in Epic and communicate with parents and staff.
• Maintain stock and ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Document findings and program logs; investigate missing demographics when needed.
• Enter results into Epic and program records after screenings.
• Schedule follow-up audiological evaluations for infants who do not pass.
• Assist in training new students to the hearing program.
