Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced, per diem board certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established practice in the Tampa Bay area. The team includes 16 neonatal physicians, 3 pediatricians and 12 NNPs, providing care to patients in the Tampa Bay market across multiple NICUs.

The position requires a current APRN national specialty certification, a minimum of a master’s degree, and a Florida license with recent NICU experience.

Qualifications

• Board certified neonatal nurse practitioner with current APRN certification.
• Florida license is required.
• Minimum of a master’s degree.
• Recent NICU experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide neonatal coverage across Tampa Bay hospitals as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Participate in in-house and back-up call scheduling for NICUs.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, and NNPs to deliver newborn care.
