Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team in New York. This per diem position offers a flexible schedule while delivering high‑quality imaging and patient care.

You will operate MRI scanners, position patients, and ensure safety and comfort throughout exams. Responsibilities include preparing patients, obtaining diagnostic images for physician review, maintaining RIS records, coordinating with the radiology team, and upholding accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of AMA-approved radiography program.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registration in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• State licensure as Radiologic Technologist if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images.
• Screen and prepare patients, explain procedures, position for scans.
• Maintain safety standards and patient records in RIS.
• Maintain equipment and cleaning according to protocol.
• Assist with protocol manuals and inventory.
