Job summary

New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center (NHOC), a division of Northeast Orthopaedic Alliance, seeks a Per Diem MRI Technologist for our Bedford or Nashua imaging locations. The role emphasizes high-quality MRI exams, patient safety, and comfort in a outpatient setting.

The position offers flexible per diem scheduling (Thursday/Friday and some Saturdays) and opportunities to work in a collaborative team focused on orthopaedic care across Southern New Hampshire.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT (MR) certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience preferred; outpatient orthopaedic experience a plus.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on patient care.
• Flexibility to work variable per diem hours as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and protocols.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients for imaging procedures.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality during exams.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment and report technical issues promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure efficient patient care.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA and NHOC standards.
