Job summary

Northeast Orthopaedic Alliance's New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center (NHOC) is seeking a Per Diem MRI Technologist to join the Bedford imaging team. The MRI Technologist will perform high-quality MRI examinations while prioritizing patient safety, comfort, and privacy in an outpatient setting.

Based in Bedford or Nashua, NH, this role offers flexible per diem scheduling (Thursday, Friday, occasional Saturdays).

Qualifications

• Current ARRT (MR) certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience preferred; outpatient orthopaedic experience a plus.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients for imaging procedures.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout the exam.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, promptly reporting technical issues.
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient care.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and NHOC standards.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Per Diem MRI Technologist to join our Bedford imaging team. The MRI Technologist will perform high-quality MRI examinations while prioritizing patient safety, comfort, and privacy. This role is ideal for an experienced MRI professional seeking flexible scheduling in a collaborative outpatient environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients for imaging procedures.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout the exam.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, promptly reporting technical issues.
