Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Per Diem Radiology Resident to join the MRI team across multiple departments in Massachusetts. This position supports supervision, emergency treatment, and collaboration with radiology staff within Atrium Health’s network.

Responsibilities include consultative input on contrast use, preliminary MRI evaluations with AH radiologists, and documentation in Epic. A physician-led environment emphasizes patient safety and high-quality imaging care.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or certified by ABR or ABOG
• Unrestricted licensure in Massachusetts
• American Heart Association BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Provide medical supervision of all MRI examinations
• Provide emergency medical treatment in MRI departments
• Remain with the MRI unit during scheduled shifts
• Consult on use of contrast agents following Atrium Health protocols
• Provide initial MRI evaluations in consultation with an AH radiologist
• Obtain informed consent for pregnant patients undergoing MRI
• Administer IV Lasix for MR programs
