Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Ability to meet University driver qualification and insurance requirements.
- Ability to safely operate large vehicles.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate the University's 40-foot Mobile Health & Wellness Unit.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Transport faculty, staff, students, and program materials to outreach locations.
- Coordinate travel schedules with program administrators and faculty.
- Operate ADA accessibility equipment, including wheelchair liftsystems.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness.
- Complete required inspection reports, mileage logs, and operational documentation.
- Report accidents, incidents, maintenance issues, and safety concerns.
- Ensure compliance with University policies and motor vehicle regulations.
- Represent Salve Regina University professionally at community events and partner locations.
