Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group has an exciting opportunity for a MFM Sonographer to join our team at Eastside Maternal Fetal Medicine in Bellevue, WA. The diagnostic sonographer performs detailed fetal ultrasound and supports physicians with procedures, documenting findings and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The role requires ARDMS certification or eligibility, OB/GYN or fetal echo credentials or eligibility within 12 months, and continuing education, with a per diem schedule commonly used for

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited sonography program with a degree in ultrasonography or equivalent, or graduate from an accredited program with on-the-job ultrasound training.
• Maintain or be eligible for ARDMS certification.
• ARDMS OB/GYN or Fetal Echo certification/eligibility within 12 months of hire.
• Evidence of continuing education credits to fulfill accreditation requirements.
• NT experience or certification preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed fetal anatomical surveys, including twins and triplets, acquiring data for interpretation by a physician.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling.
• Document exam findings, measurements, images, and procedural details in reporting systems.
• Record patient history and indications per protocols and regulatory standards.
• Generate preliminary reports for interpreting physicians and final review.
• Review studies with physicians to communicate findings and support diagnostic accuracy.
• Ensure documentation complies with policies, accreditation requirements, and safety standards.
• Select exam types and codes to support reporting, interpretation, and billing.
