Job summary

Billings Clinic is seeking a Mental Health Worker (per diem) at the Community Crisis Center to provide compassionate care and support to patients. The role involves basic nursing tasks under supervision, crisis de-escalation, and collaboration with the care team at the Main Campus.

Starting wage is DOE and ranges from $17.00 to $21.25 per hour. This position requires a high school diploma, at least two years of mental health experience (preferred), CPR certification, and a Montana drivers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred training or direct experience of at least two years in the mental health field with demonstrated ability and skills to work therapeutically with patients.
• Aegis Certification within 60 days of hire is required or expected.
• CPR certification is required.
• Must have a valid Montana drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Supports and models behaviors consistent with the organizations mission, values and service expectations.
• Performs basic nursing care and activities under supervision within the scope of practice.
• Maintains accurate and timely entry into the client medical record.
• Maintains confidentiality and supports person-centered care.
• Assists in de-escalation and crisis intervention as needed.
• Transports clients during non-emergent situations using the CCC van when required.
• Keeps the CCC environment clean and safe and supports daily workflow.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Two years of mental health experience preferred

Aegis Certification within 60 days of hire

Healthcare provider CPR Certification

Montana driver's license
