Job summary

Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, NH seeks a per diem Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technologist to process specimens, perform tests, report results, calibrate equipment, and assist the Laboratory Manager with validating new tests and procedures. A B.S.

in Medical Technology or MLS meeting ASCP requirements is required, with certification within one year if not yet board certified; NH licensure is optional.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science meeting the ASCP Board Registry requirements.
• Must be ASCP certified or equivalent; if not currently board certified, certification within one year of hire.
• Licensure in NH is optional.

Responsibilities

• Process specimens, perform tests, and report results.
• Calibrate equipment and assist the Clinical Laboratory Manager with evaluating new tests and procedures.
