Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Per Diem Medical Technologist I at Kenmore. You will perform routine and special laboratory assays, calibrate equipment, and support clinicians with accurate results in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include an associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology, with ASCP MLT certification preferred; BLS/ACLS; and at least one year of lab experience. Per diem schedule is as needed, with multiple shift options.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution or equivalent CLIA-qualified training.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Certification as Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by ASCP or equivalent; CLIA compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, perform routine and special laboratory assays on patient specimens.
• Operate and calibrate equipment; evaluate data and communicate results to physicians and staff.
• Provide data for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease.
