Job summary

Brightview Senior Living, LLC in Paramus, NJ is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide/Tech to provide warm and engaging personal care and companionship to our residents. You will assist with activities of daily living and monitor changes in daily needs.

Work with the nurse to update the Resident Care Plan and encourage participation in community programs. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and NJ Medication Aide certification (or equivalent in other states).

Qualifications

• You have a positive attitude and love working with people!
• You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• You're certified as a Medication Aide (NJ) or Technician (MD, RI, PA, VA, NY).

Responsibilities

• Provide warm and engaging personal care services, assistance, support and companionship.
• Engage and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Look for changes in residents' day and personal care needs and work with the nurse to update their personal Resident Care Plan.
• Encourage resident participation in community programs and activities.
