Northern Nevada Medical Center is seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse for a Per Diem position on the Medical Surgical Unit in Sparks, NV. This day shift role focuses on safe, compassionate patient care within a patient-centered framework.

Qualifications include an accredited RN program, current Nevada RN license, and BLS certification; acute care experience is preferred. Per diem status offers flexibility within a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care assessment.
• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill. Integrates direct and indirect patient care activities related to the diagnosis and co-morbidities.
• Coordinates the implementation of the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients. Develops goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet individual patient/family needs.
