Qualified candidates will have Mammo and General X-ray experience, a post-high school diploma, and ARRT certification with board certification in Mammography.

Qualifications

• Post High School Diploma required.
• Must have Mammo and General X Ray experience.
• ARRT Certification and Board Certified in Mammography; RT(R)(M).

Responsibilities

• Administers ionizing radiation for screening/diagnostic mammograms per protocol.
• Demonstrates breast anatomy, physiology, pathology and terminology relevant to the exam.
• Maintains accuracy in breast positioning, exposure techniques and image parameter evaluation.
• Integrates technical skills with patient interaction to obtain diagnostic information.
• Uses professional judgment and seeks direction from MQSA interpreting physician or policies as needed.
• Provides compassionate patient care respecting cultural and emotional needs.
