Unified Mammography Services is seeking a Mammography Technologist for its affiliated practice in Northern Virginia. The role focuses on 3D digital mammography to aid diagnosis, with independence and strong problem-solving in a high-quality imaging setting.

Qualified applicants will hold an ARRT Registration RT(R) and ARRT Certification in Mammography, have English proficiency, and be able to follow MQSA and ACR requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• ARRT Registration R.T.(R) Required.
• ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) Required.
• State Department of Radiation Control License (if applicable).
• Maintain registry status and continuing education.
• Minimum two years of mammography experience preferred.
• English proficiency required for duties and documentation.

Aufgaben

• Perform mammography imaging and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address any malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammographic exams.
• Apply analytical skills to interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.
• Accurately complete patient information requirements and necessary paperwork.
• Complete administrative tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation.
• Complete medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results, escalating to management or a radiologist when results exceed standard turnaround times.
• Support the MQSA and ACR requirements.
• Adhere to continuing education requirements mandated by MQSA.
