Unified Mammography Services is seeking a Per Diem Float Mammography Technologist for its Mammography offices in Gainesville, Ocala, and Jacksonville, FL. The role involves 3D digital mammography and supporting high-quality patient care in a busy OB/GYN environment.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT Mammography certification, be able to work independently, and communicate clearly with radiologists and patients. Flexible coverage and MQSA/ACR compliance experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• ARRT Registration R.T.(R) Required.
• ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) Required.
• State Department of Radiation Control License (if applicable).
• Maintain registry status and continuing education.
• Minimum two years of mammography experience preferred.
• English language communication required for duties.
• Ability to understand and follow safety instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography imaging and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address any malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammographic exams.
• Interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.
• Complete patient information requirements and necessary paperwork.
• Complete administrative tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation.
• Complete medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results, escalating when needed.
• Support the manager in MQSA and ACR requirements.
• Adhere to continuing education requirements mandated by MQSA.
