Qualifications

• Completion of a 2-year Radiological Technology program.
• Current CT license in Connecticut.
• ARRT registration or registry-eligible.
• Maintain ARRT CEU requirements.
• CPR–Healthcare Provider certification.
• MQSA annual training requirements.
• 1 year radiography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts mammography studies by positioning breasts and operating equipment.
• Instructs patients and ensures proper breath-hold and alignment.
• Maintains image quality and adheres to safety standards.
• Performs needle localizations and stereotactic breast biopsies as needed.
• Sets exposure factors (KVP, MA, time) and coordinates with radiologists.
