Job summary

PIH Health is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for our Urgent Care in Whittier, CA. This per diem role offers a 10-hour shift from 9:30am to 8:30pm, with direct or indirect nursing care under the supervision of a practitioner to support urgent and emerging health needs in a fast-paced medical office.

The LVN will apply nursing principles, assess patients, perform basic procedures as trained, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Continuing education demonstrated.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Card required.
• Experience in direct nursing care in a medical office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct or indirect nursing care in urgent care setting under practitioner guidance.
• Assist with patient assessment and basic procedures as trained.
• Educate patients and families on care and follow-up instructions.
