Job summary

The Paramount at Somers is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team at 189 Route 100, Somers, NY 10589. Per diem shifts supported; provide care for residents in Skilled Unit and Long Term Care Unit, including medication administration and vital signs, with family education and coordination with physicians.

Current LPN license required. Per diem schedule and competitive hourly wages offered.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for residents of our Skilled Unit (SNF) and Long Term Care Unit.
• Medication administration, including IVs.
• Taking and recording vital signs.
• Providing resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcomes.
• Provide resident and family education.
• Communication with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.
• Supervising CNAs.
