Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires graduation from a state accredited program of practical nurse education.
• Licensed to practice as a Practical Nurse in North Carolina.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in accordance with the plan of care, physician's orders, and department policies.
• Observes and documents patient status, reports changes to team.
• Assists with education and discharge planning.
• Performs routine treatments, medication administration, and monitoring as directed.
• Supports patient and family during admission, admission orientation, and discharge.
