Job summary

Southcoast Health System in Dartmouth, MA is seeking an experienced LPN for its Float Pool on a per diem basis. You will provide direct patient care, administer medications, teach patients and families, and support smooth clinic flow across sites.

The role requires an MA/RI LPN license, BLS, and familiarity with EHR systems. Some travel between SPG Primary Care sites is required; vaccination against flu and COVID-19 is expected unless exempted.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing or equivalent.
• Current LPN licensure in MA and/or RI.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) is desirable.
• Six months or more experience in related setting preferred.
• Vaccination against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care, medication administration, patient and family teaching, rooming and procedures.
• Facilitate efficient flow of patients through the clinic or medical office.
• Communicate test results, schedules and follow-up with patients under supervision.
• Utilize EHR and related software to update/access patient information.
