Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. We offer per diem shifts with same-day or next-day pay and a potential signing bonus after two shifts.

Active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility experience, and current BLS/CPR are required. We provide flexible scheduling and local staffing coordinators to support you.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• BLS/CPR certification current.
• PPD test within the last year.
• Ability to meet physical requirements; no weight restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
