Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. This role offers per diem hours with same-day or next-day pay and a possible hiring bonus after two shifts.

Applicants must hold an active LPN license, have at least 1 year of facility-based experience, and maintain current BLS/CPR. The position supports flexible scheduling and local staffing coordination to match needs in the Hampton Roads area.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. No weight restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
