Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA in Hampton Roads is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team. The position offers hourly pay of $37-$39 and flexible scheduling with same-day or next-day pay options.

Active LPN license and at least one year of facility experience are required, along with current BLS/CPR and a recent PPD. Per diem shifts provide full-time hours and local staffing coordinators are available from 5 AM to 11:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Able to meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
