Job summary
First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads, VA. The role offers hourly pay, same-day/next-day pay, and flexible scheduling while supporting facilities with dependable nursing coverage.
Ideal candidates hold an active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility experience, and current BLS/CPR. Perks include rapid-pay options, weekly pay, and local staffing coordinators to assist during shifts.
Qualifications
- Active LPN license and facility-based nursing experience.
- BLS/CPR certification current.
- PPD test completed within the last year.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Collect and document patient information.
- Provide wound care and patient education.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
- Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
- Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
- Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
