Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. The role emphasizes safe nursing care, medication administration, patient assessment, and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Applicants should hold an active LPN license, have at least one year of facility-based experience, current BLS/CPR, and be able to meet physical demands. Per diem options offer flexible scheduling and local assignments.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum of 1 year facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test completed within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
