Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. Per Diem schedules offer flexible hours, with same-day or next-day pay options and a rapid pay card.

Active LPN license and a minimum of 1 year of facility-based experience are required, along with current BLS/CPR and a PPD within the last year. Local staffing coordinators support scheduling and needs across Hampton Roads.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience
• Current BLS/CPR
• PPD within the last year

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collect and document patient information
• Provide wound care and patient education
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs
