Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is hiring experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team serving facilities in Hampton Roads. Per diem shifts offer competitive pay with same-day or next-day pay through the RapidPay Card and a bonus after completion of 2 shifts.

Responsibilities include providing nursing care, administering medications, wound care, patient education, and coordinating with the healthcare team. Local applicants only; EOE.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the position, with or without accommodation. No weight restrictions

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs
