First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join our per diem team in Hampton Roads, Virginia. The role involves providing nursing care within the LPN scope, administering medications, collecting patient data, and educating patients.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
