Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. This role offers per diem work with competitive pay of $37-$39 per hour, Same-Day or Next-Day Pay, and a RapidPay option.

Flexible scheduling and local staffing coordinators are available to support shifts from early morning to late evening. Applicants must hold an active LPN license with at least 1 year of facility-based experience, current BLS/CPR,

Qualifications

• Active LPN license
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience
• Current BLS/CPR
• PPD within the last year
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collect and document patient information
• Provide wound care and patient education
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs
