Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a per-diem Licensed Practical Nurse to join the team at Jefferson City Correctional Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. The LPN will deliver holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN and medical/psychiatric supervision.

This role requires MO LPN licensure (or ability to obtain), CPR certification, and the ability to obtain a security clearance with background checks. Per-diem, as needed shifts with shift differentials may apply.

Qualifications

• Missouri LPN license or ability to obtain license.
• Current CPR.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff.
